I manipulated my photos using photoshop. I layered photos on top of each other and faded some. I particularly like the effect of the faded photos on top of my clearer images as this provided them with a whimsical effect. I also tryed to match the two images so they would work well together or in the case of the first image I wanted to create a juxtoposition of images.
